PayPal uses several ways to keep your payments secure.
i) They use industry-leading encryption and fraud prevention tools. ii) They don’t share your financial information with us (the merchant). iii) They send you a confirmation email when you make a payment so you are altered if anyone else has used your account.
Secure Payments By Amazon
Your Amazon Payments account is subjected to several verification procedures to maintain the highest levels of security, trust, and protection. Whenever you log in to your Amazon Payments account, you log in using a secure server connection (https://) which uses a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with 128 bit encryption, the industry-standard in secure server protection.
Customers’ purchases are covered by the A-to-Z Guarantee, and merchants (us) use the same fraud detection technology used by Amazon.co.uk.
Secure Payments Processed by BarclayCard
When making a credit or debit card payment using our online facility, it’s easy to verify if the session is encrypted for your security by checking the site certificate.
Firstly, make sure Barclaycard owns the secure session.
Double-click on the padlock in your browser window.
A dialogue box will open. It should show that the website is owned by, or the certificate is issued to, bcol.barclaycard.co.uk.
Next, check that our security certificate is valid.
Select the option to ‘View certificate’. You may find it in the tab that says ‘Security’, depending on your browser. There you can check how long the certificate is valid. Depending on the browser you’re using, you may see further verification that ‘This certificate is OK’.
Secure online transaction processing with Internet Authentication combines the benefits of both authentication and authorization.
Authentication is the process of checking that the cardholder is genuine. A card issuer may prove this by requesting that their cardholder type in a password that correctly matches the details registered.
Authorization is the process of making sure the cardholder has the funds to pay for the transaction and their card has not been blocked for any reason. Once the card issuer has authenticated the customer, the payment processor (e.g. ePDQ) then authorizes the transaction in the normal way.
Secure Payments By Klarna
